The plate-like protrusions on its back were said to have been used to protect it from carnivorous dinosaurs, but recent research has suggested that they were used to radiate heat and regulate body temperature, or as a display between friends. Although it looks gentle, it has four long spikes at the end of its tail, which it swung as a weapon.

Technique: A stegosaurus is depicted on very pale blue glass. The background is made of uranium glass frit, which glows green when exposed to black light. The reverse side replicates the unevenness of the natural stone. This is a double-sided piece that can also be used on the reverse side.
