A tree dragon is born when lightning strikes a giant tree over 10,000 years old. It is a dragon that protects the forest, and when forest fires break out, it works with the wind spirits to put out the fires. It is a very gentle dragon, but if anyone damages the forest (by carelessly cutting down trees), a dragon will appear out of nowhere, and the person will be cursed so that any metal they hold will rust quickly and any fire they start will go out instantly.
