[Emperor Penguin – Determination –]
Emperor penguins are said to be "birds that raise their young in the toughest conditions in the world." They breed and raise their young on the icy plains in winter, when temperatures drop to several dozen degrees below zero. Males incubate eggs for 65 days in a -60 degree blizzard, fasting for no time at all. Including the time spent traveling, this fasting period lasts for a total of 120 days. These animals are endowed with the courage and determination to survive.
